**Genetic testing is now becoming a Mandatory Test for the Breeding of Bernese Mountain Dogs in Victoria**

**PLEASE ensure your responsible breeder has tested for this disease and you have sighted the certification before purchasing a puppy**

Please be careful in deciding to buy a puppy, as we believe that owning a dog is a life long commitment. There are many hidden costs in owning a puppy including vaccinations, worming, vet bills, food and training to name a few.

We prefer all puppy owners to Hip and Elbow score their dogs after 12 months. This enables us to judge their progression and to better understand the breeding potential of our dogs. It is also highly recommended that all dogs continue with their worming and vaccination programs.

Your Free Puppy Insurance

We have actively been involved with Bernese for a number of years now. We have a large knowledge of the breed with a huge support base in the Bernese community. We aim to provide a puppy to you that will suit your lifestyle and grow old with you. All puppies leave Ausblaze under an insurance plan. This Insurance is totally free of charge and is one of Ausblaze's gifts to you. The insurance plan covers you for 6 weeks from Accident & Illness.

Instant Policy Benefits

Vet fees up to $3000 - for illness & injury, including hospitilisation, referral & complementary medicines.

Death from Illness or injury - Price paid up to $1500. Losing a pet is a great sadness and nothing can replace a loved pet, but our insurance fund will refund the purchace price up to $1500

Advertising & Reward - If the puppy gets lost or stolen, the insurance plan will pay for local newspaper advertising and a reward up to $400.

Theft or Straying - If the puppy is not found, despite all efforts the insurance plan will refund the purchase price up to $1500.
