AUSBLAZE BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOGS
MISSION STATEMENT
CURRENT ACTIVITIES
All of our puppies have now been placed in wonderful homes. They are enjoying massive amounts of cuddles and are the star attraction where ever they go.
We are excited to now have 2 girls from the litter living with us "Bailey" and "Biscuit" both with exceptional breed type and standard. Bailey is a heavy bitch who takes after her fathers beautiful temperament, while Biscuit has exceptional structure and markings.
On the show scene we have placed a gorgeous boy in North Queensland who will be shown by Michelle Hammond. In addition we have placed 2 boys and one other girl who shall make their first show appearances at the Victorian Bernese Specialty.
UPDATE
Our puppies have done really well in the ring combined taking out Best Baby puppy in Breed and Best Baby puppy in Group Awards and even a Runner Up Baby in Show. In the limited number of shows they have attended they are showing great potential for the future.
All of our Bernese have now been genetically profiled and Bessie has been tested and cleared of Von Willenbrand's Disease. This test is now becoming a mandatory genetic test in Victoria. Please ensure your breeder has conducted these tests and you have sighted both the Sires and Dams certification before buying a puppy.
UPDATE
Bessie is now back into her show training, with the aim to hit the ring in a few months after her coat has returned. She is now 3 1/2 and we are exercising her most days with a good run and some hydrotherapy to build up her muscle strength. Bessie is now looking stunning and has really thickened up in bone and also her coat colours are looking magnificent. She is now looking more mature than ever.
VALE: TURI V BERNETTA 13.11.97 - 7.5.08
We would like to send our deepest sympathies to the Stephenson family on the passing of their wonderful Bernese Turi. Turi was an International Champion, gaining his Titles in America, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. He will be deeply missed, although his memory will be carried on in his sons and daughters. Bessie will miss her father, and we are happy to have a bitch sired through this wonderful Bernese.
